Fertilizers

Fertilizers, both natural and synthetic by origin, promote agricultural growth and harvesting. Fertilizers supply the plants with the essential nutrients for their needs.

There are three main groups of the fertilizers used worldwide: based on nitrogen, based on phosphorus and based on potassium.

Nitrogen promotes better leaf growth, whereas phosphorus improves the plant’s roots, flowers and fruits (seeds). Potassium in its turn helps plants to develop the stronger stem growth and to distribute water properly.

Moreover, the fertilizers could be classified in other ways: as liquid and solid, organic and inorganic, as direct and indirect mode of action, etc.

Fertilizers are also divided by the way of application to the soil: basic, sowing, surface, subsurface etc.

Ukraine has many plants and factories which produce high-quality fertilizers at the moderate prices.
