Sea transportation is the cheapest way to deliver agricultural commodities. Ukraine has several large maritime ports, among which there are Odessa, Chernomorsk (Odessa region). These ports are connected with all major regions my railways and highways and have developed infrastructure for agricultural needs.

All main world container lines have regular voyages to the Ukrainian ports, that allows to perform an effective container transportation.

Sea transportation develops from year to year. If 10 years ago transit time Ukraine – China, for example, was 30 days, now it is 22 days.
